I love how many of us are showing up and lifting each other up in the Sisterhood community. Each month more and more Queens are showing up and sharing what’s in their hearts and minds. Most importantly, the sisterhood community is a safe place to let your hair down and to speak about what’s on your mind. The energy on these calls is healing and lifting and shows how we genuinely care for each other. If you haven’t been attending, you have to try and come….
… Imagine being held tenderly by a group of women as you work through anything holding you back—so many tears of relief.
…Imagine saying what you feel and knowing that NO one is ever going to judge you for it.
Here’s a Recap of What We Discussed on June’s Sisterhood Call
1. We Talked About the Sugar Challenge – we started sharing our ups and downs with kicking the habit of sugar. We shared our journey finding alternatives for those days when you can’t seem to get it right. I hope when you listen you find comfort in knowing, we also don’t always get it right. We fall off the wagon and make mistakes. But it’s in acknowledging where we are and taking actionable steps to getting better. You have to meet your body where it’s at!
2. The Importance of Tracking – Ladies I think this one actionable step, can change the game for many of us. Tracking our wins! Tracking our bladders or our water intake, to name a few can dramatically shift your journey. When you track you can see where you have been and you can influence where you go. Tracking makes you the heroine of your own story. I encourage you to track, start small and see if you are not convinced at how much information it can provide. Sometimes, it can give you a clear picture of what you are ACTUALLY doing.
3. Reverse Kegel Strategies – We came back to this one from the last challenge. I particularly love how the challenges build on one another. We discussed using different tactile cues to check our progress, one is at the sit bones and the other at the perineum. Some queens shared in their challenges with connecting to the reverse Kegel and how to overcome this by using a dilator or tactile input for better mind-body connection.
Again, ladies thank you so much for coming into the sacred community with your sisters. I really believe that even if you don’t feel like speaking up just yet. Being in the community of like-minded women who have overcome and can reflect back to you what is possible is….priceless.
Just know that we are here and look forward to our time together each month.
Sending You Love, Ease and Healing
