In this month’s sisterhood call, we talked about what it means to Detox and discovered that Detox could trigger old patterns, and it’s much deeper than just cleaning ourselves out.
Detoxing requires us to identify our triggers/stressors, notice our mental/behavioral patterns, and recommitting every day to let go of what no longer serves us.
A big takeaway in our sisterhood was understanding there is no such thing as a complete success, and there is also NO FAILURE > everything that happens to us is FEEDBACK! (I personally loved that one).
2. We got into how Deep Breathing is key to managing your prolapse and can set you free during times of self-sabotage by bringing in more self-awareness.
3. We discovered how tracking is Key for behavior modification. Tracking requires mindfulness and being in touch with the signals of your body and is key to making meaningful and lasting changes in your healing journey.
4. We also demonstrated how to bend with proper mechanics to reduce strain on your pelvic floor.
Just know that with any challenge, there will be hit and misses, wins, and losses. However, ultimately it’s about the commitment to do better, be better, and put yourself first. This, of course, is much harder to do when you fumble, but again this is the opportunity to level up our health, our lives, and our mindset.
The monthly challenges are there to make us better and to help us self-reflection. The monthly challenges help us to take inventory of how did that made me feel and to pivot if necessary?
Ladies, all challenges require mindfulness, and I want to thank you for bringing your full selves and letting us see you.
