**************BEGION TRANSCRIPT
Speaker 1: I was so excited for today because this has been a dream of mine, for years, for years. I Always wanted to have a sisterhood, the sisterhood I didn’t have when I was going through my healing. I always wanted to have someone that I can lean on, right? Someone that I could be like, okay, I can go somewhere and I can talk to someone about it. And I felt so alone for so long, but guess what? Over. Because we are about to embark on an extraordinary journey together and I am excited for December’s master class. I have a bunch of experts coming, but I wanted to do the first one. Because I’m like, “Why not?” This first master class, by the way, I’m Isa [Hela] because actually there are some people here who have registered and we have over 200 women registered and I see this just growing and growing and being even bigger and bigger.
Speaker 1: And some may not know who I am, so welcome to the Pelvic Wellness Collective, a sisterhood where we focus on our health and transforming our parts to happier lady parts. Right? And the focus of today’s master class, and I really want to set it up right because 2020 is coming and I start my resolutions on December 1st because that’s the way I roll. Okay? I don’t wait ’til January 31st. I start now. Especially since it’s so difficult during the holidays with the weight gain and the alcohol and you name it. Right? And the stress. So, I try to center myself really early. And so what I thought we would do today, we’re going to explore pillar one. Now, a lot of you guys may know about pillar one, but I’m going to bring a little new secret sauce to it. Okay?
Speaker 1: Pillar one is all about setting the right foundation. Now, I was just being interviewed for a documentary on pelvic floor. And they were all about the techniques, the tools, the massage, blah, blah, blah. That’s all they wanted to know. Right? And I’m like, “Well, you’re missing a very important component here.” And this is a documentary, so I’m putting my two cents in there. They’re missing the most important part, which is the way you hold your body, the way you carry your body and what your body communicates to you. Right? So, I thought it was really interesting that they only wanted tips and techniques and tools, but in reality they were missing the most important thing, which is how to set the foundation for the perfect, happy vagina and bladder and sex life, right?
Speaker 1: I want to come up with a secret handshake or a secret… You know how they always have secret handshakes or a secret sign? So, I don’t know. If you have one, post it and I want to come up with something for us so we can identify ourselves. And when we’re incognito wherever… I’m sure we’ll all going to meet because I’m going to have a retreat next year. So, we’re definitely all going to meet in person. Okay?
Speaker 1: So, here is what I thought that I would do. I want to talk about awareness because I think that the missing… One of the biggest missing links in healing in general, I don’t care what kind of healing it is, is awareness and really paying attention to ourselves, our thoughts, our motions, what we eat, how we sleep, how we talk to people, what we say to ourselves because I think that what we say to ourselves is probably, I know that the way women, I can say this because I’ve treated thousands and thousands of women, the way sometimes we talk to ourselves is worse than we would ever talk to even our own worse enemy, right? Sometimes we look in the mirror and we say not so many nice things.
Speaker 1: So, I want to talk about the foundation and in pillar one I created a couple of goodies. I actually have… Oh, by the way, I’m super excited because I saw the leaderboard and there’s already a lot of points up there. There’s going to be awards every month for the person who has the most points and does the work. Okay? Because I love doing that. It’s a competition with yourself. It’s not with each other, it’s with yourself. Okay? Yeah, it’s like accountability. That’s how I see these numbers. I wish that they could give you a check mark or something. I don’t like numbers, but I think it’s about accountability. Right? And this membership is about accountability to ourselves. Right?
Speaker 1: So, taking notice is important. And when I talk about taking notice, I don’t want us to focus only on the bad stuff that happens. We are so used to, we wake up in the morning and the first thing we do, we’re like high alert. “Ooh, what’s going to go wrong? What’s happening? Oh my God. Oh my God. Oh my God.” No. And I know, because I’ve been waking up like that. I’ve been waking up… I actually got my cast off everybody. You see? I’m going to physical therapy. It’s very painful. I couldn’t believe it. I’m getting a dosage of my own medicine as many thousands of women I’ve inflicted pain on, now it’s my turn. Right?
Speaker 1: And so, I want to focus on these two tracking sheets in pillar one. I want to talk about what’s the good stuff that’s happening. I want to change the way our brain is being wired, and we can change that. We can change that by noticing the good things that are happening in our lives, and finding awe, finding awe. Just awe. To me, I live in New York city, so it’s like the concrete jungle. Very difficult. There’s not a lot of nature, there’s no trees. It’s hard. So, I typically like to look for the sunset. I have a little sunset view and I’ll look at the sky and that’d be my awe. Or I’ll go and I’ll take a walk at Prospect Park, which is my backyard and I’ll look for the trees and changing colors. So, finding awe. And so, you have a tracking sheet for that that I think would be really fantastic. And I think that you should just do that just so that you can focus on all the goodness in your life. Right?
Speaker 1: But for every good, for every light, there’s a darkness. Right? Right? It’s like Alice in Wonderland going through… And that’s why I call it the looking glass by the way. The looking glass videos, those are inspirational videos that you should check out. So, the looking glass, it’s like little things are coming and saying every once in a while, like when I notice something. But for every light, there’s a dark, right? So, for every good, there’s a negative. But I want you to really think about what’s making you have your symptoms, whatever they may be and put some in the thing for me so I can see what kind of symptoms you are having and then I can give you a little tidbits about that.
Speaker 1: So, when you realize what’s making you worse, it’s like when you go to the doctor you say, “Hey, Doctor. It hurts when I do this.” And the doctor says, “Well, stop doing that.” That’s what I’m talking about. When you bring your awareness towards actually increasing your symptoms, then that is the moment that you take notice why… Because we started with notice, we started with awareness. And you say, “This is an opportunity for me in this dark moment. In this symptom lies my light, lies an opportunity for me to level up my life and my health so that I can live it the way I want to live it without inhibition, without fear, feeling great in your vagina.” Right?
Speaker 1: So, that’s why I have those two tracking sheets. One is to triumphs and one is the damsel in distress, the queen in distress. Now, I treat a lot of women as you know, and I do VIP days and I have private coaching, the whole thing. And one of the things that I notice is that women tell me, “But Isa, everything that I’m doing is perfect. I am perfect in every way.” And we are, we are perfect and we are magnificent in every way.
Speaker 1: And so, I was talking to this client of mine, right? High power executive, right? Lawyer, Harvard, the whole thing just pure madness. Painful sex, pain with sitting and she goes, “Isa, I’m one of those people, I do my homework, I go and I do my homework every day. I do my dialect, blah, blah, blah.” She’s going on and on. She’s doing her self care. Right? And I said, “Okay, that sounds so really great. I’m really proud of you. Fantastic.” And I’m like, “What about your… How many hours do you spend at work?” For her, a work day’s like 14 hours. I’m like, “Oh my God, that’s a lot.” I said, “Well, what’s your day like?” She goes, “Well, I go. I get my coffee in the morning and I sit all day. And then I have some crackers and peanut butter.” I swear to… I’m not making this up. I wish I was making this up because it’s ridiculous. “I have some crackers and peanut butter at my desk so I don’t have to get up and have lunch. I hold my pee in.”
Speaker 1: And basically, she’s living… She’s in a man’s world, living like a man instead of being like a woman. And we have to come back in contact with our feminine energy. We have to. It’s the only way. So, she’s perfect in all her self care, but her awareness is zero. What’s causing her symptoms, she doesn’t know. And sitting, is the new smoking for the pelvic floor. Right? Which is, we’re talking about next week’s challenge, which I’m super excited about. It’s the standing challenge. Right?
Speaker 1: Now, why do I dislike sitting so much? And listen, I just got a standing desk from IKEA. I’ll put the link in here. And it was like 400 bucks, best thing I ever did. I lost weight as soon as I got the standing desk. I felt better. Instead of having more pressure because of my prolapse, I had less pressure. Go figure that one out. Okay? Now, the pelvic floor muscles, when we sit, we have to sit on our sit bones. Everybody sit on your sit bones. Those are the two little bones in the back, right? When we sit like this, let me show you how. I wish I had a picture of this lawyer. Okay? And I love her and my heart opens for, she’s sitting like this.
Speaker 1: Well, I told her, send me a picture of your desk. I want to see what your desk looks like. She’s sitting all curved under like this on her computer. Right? And I said, “You could be doing your dilator work, you could be doing your manual stretching, all the techniques that I teach in my programs. But the problem is that then you go back and you have a faulty foundation and we’re only as strong as our weakest link. And so sitting on… Sacral sitting, slump sitting puts the coxic… This little bone here, into your vagina. Boom. Smack into your vagina and when it does that, it creates tightness and weakness in the pelvic floor. Why? Because the pelvic floor muscles insert into the coxic. So, if you want to have less pain with sex, less weakness, less symptoms, less back pain, less pressure, we have to normalize the flexibility of the pelvic floor.
Speaker 1: The easiest way to do that is to minimize your sitting to 30-45 minutes. That’s what I would say. And to not sit sacral sitting. Sacral sitting is the worst. Also, compresses your abdominals and creates more pressure for the pelvic floor. So, now you’re thinking, “Well, how the hell am I going to sit upright all the time?” Well, there’s tricks, right? One of the things that I did, if you’re working from home, please don’t work with your laptop on your lap. It’s the EMF and all that. So, it’s just going to get all of your ovaries. Don’t do that. Please get a little place that you can call your own. Like, this is my office here. This is my workstation. And set yourself up in ergonomically correct position.
Speaker 1: And what I decided to do was because so many people have absolutely horrific, horrific workstations, especially professional women in the work environment and sometimes even at home, they’re terrible. I gave you a little cheat sheet on how to start addressing your ergonomic station, your computer station, your workstation, so that your vagina is singing a beautiful love song to you. A beautiful song. Because you can be doing all the kegels in the world. You can be doing all the reverse kegels, you could be doing like this lawyer, I call her the Harvard lawyer, right? Oops, what happened?
Speaker 1: Oh, there we go. There we go. I just went off for a minute. And could we make sure that this is being charged? Yeah, it charged at 100%. And once we corrected, it’s so simple, once we corrected her workstation and we got her into the standing more then sitting, and we corrected the posture, half her symptoms went away, which is the power of listening to your body and the power, remember that this is a frame that we must protect, this is a container that we must, what? Have in balance, right? And so, a lot of her tightness and a lot of her sexual pain was really due to the hypertonicity, which means tension, in the vagina related to the fact that she wouldn’t get up to pee. You know? And she also sat incorrectly for 10 years. Right?
Speaker 1: So, really, really important. So, take a picture of yourself. Have somebody in your house take a picture of yourself sitting the way you normally sit. Don’t fake it. And then take a picture of yourself sitting in the most beautiful, perfect posture, which by the way, is in your handout, right? And start to notice what you’re noticing. Right? The most important thing is what are you noticing? Right? What are you noticing? Now, one of my go to, and I need a book, okay I’ll have this magazine. One of my go to exercises and this is not a great thing, is… Well, I have this thing, is… This is because I have this thing here… Let me see how I can do this… Is sitting charms. Remember the old days? I can’t believe that we still don’t have finishing schools.
Speaker 1: Sometimes I look at the kids that come home from my daughter’s high school and I’m flabbergasted. They’re all like cathartic, and these are young girls, all improper posture, all sinking in with their butts, by the way, sinking in with your butt, standing back like this and getting your butt tucked under, also creates the same tension as when you’re sitting because it’s the same effect on the pelvis. So, charm sitting where you put a book on, and you can practice this, this is the one exercise I’ll give. I’m not going to give a lot because I know that I can overwhelm. Everybody says “You always overwhelm.” I’m not going to overwhelm. I promise not to overwhelm.
PART 1 OF 3 ENDS [00:17:04]
Speaker 1: I’m not going to overwhelm. I promise not to overwhelm. Let me see if I could do this, I mean, my balance is off because of the injuries. But you know how long I had to do this before I could be like, “Oh, okay”, now I know how to sit straight, and I minimize the pain in my vagina by just changing this.
Speaker 1: Now if you want to take it to the next level, you can walk with this, back and forth. But in the beginning, I recommend that you actually sit with this book, monitor your sitting. Please don’t sit longer than 45 minutes. I mean that’s the longest. Stand up at your desk, do some hip circles. Move your hips around, get the mobility going in your pelvis. Swing yourself back and fourth, by the way, in one of the pillars. I forgot which pillar it is. I have my membership thing open here too, because I’m addicted to this now.
Speaker 1: And by the way, everything that you do, I’m doing too. I’m doing the challenge. I’m doing everything, because I don’t believe in assigning something and then not doing it myself. That wouldn’t make any sense, right? So which is the one that I have to… The sexy dance thing. I have it here. This just goes to show I did this, so I think it’s restore your pelvic function. Yeah, yeah, yeah. The chakra healing exercises.
Speaker 1: I mean we’re going a little bit ahead, remember that this curriculum here, you can do this at your own pace. And we may not follow this depending on who… I’m trying to get two really good speakers for January. So I’m interviewing two different people. One, an expert on stress and anxiety, and the other one on intermittent fasting, right? Because everybody’s thinking about their weight in January. So if you have an opinion, which one you like more, put it up right there.
Speaker 1: Oh, I did the celery juice, too. So nasty. So nasty. But I’m going to tell you something, I woke up one day and I had no pain. I had no pain, I didn’t even recognize my own body. Because, you know I suffer from Lyme, I almost died from Lyme two years ago. It’s been a really rough two years, and I think things are about to get better. And so in order to heal the Lyme, I did an autoimmune paleo diet, which by the way, very strict but worked like a charm. And then I did the celery juice, and it is fantastic. I mean, it reduced all my inflammation and pain to almost nothing. I almost didn’t recognize myself. I’m like, “Whoa, what is this?”.
Speaker 1: So I love the celery juice. I know that people all say, “Oh, it’s an Instagram fad”. That’s what I heard. But honestly, I tried it and I don’t recommend anything that I don’t try. Also get the books, so you’re educated. If you’re thinking about doing it, make sure… Oh, okay, somebody said that… Okay, Robin prefers the reduce stress and anxiety. That will be Roseanne. She’s a girlfriend of mine, and she is fantastic. One of the leading experts in the country on ADD for children, but she brings this whole stress and anxiety, and she has beautiful energy. Really fantastic.
Speaker 1: But I do digress and this is how it’s going to be on these calls, okay. So the chakra healing exercises. Sometimes I’ll get up and I do figure eights. I do chakra one and two, because I want to keep myself juicy down here, okay? Especially at my delicate age. Things are now what they used to. So I think that these pelvic mobility exercises really help not only stabilize the pelvis, but they help the pelvic floor that may be in a contracted weakened state, or is lacking it’s motion to move. So check that out.
Speaker 1: I’m skipping a little bit ahead, remember that this curriculum here is here for you forever. I may add things later on. That’s the beauty about this membership, it’s so fluid. It’s not like my other programs where it’s all regimented and everybody has to do it the same way. This is fluid and I really, really love it, okay? Now I talked about the charm sitting. You could practice that. I talk about the hip mobility. Try to do something when you stand up, a little stretch, a little whatever you need to do, but try not to go to the bathroom.
Speaker 1: I had one of my clients every time she was getting up, every 45 minutes, instead of doing something at her desk, a little stretch, whatever it is, she was peeing. So she threw her bladder out of balance, right? So please don’t do that, because you still have to keep your… Don’t use the bathroom as an excuse to get up. Use it as a way to create mobility and flexibility, and motion and movement, so that we can disperse the stagnation that is in many of our vaginas, mine included. Okay? Because it happens like that, all right?
Speaker 1: Now the sisterhood circles, I want to talk a little bit about that now that I have everybody, have a captive audience here. The sisterhood circle, the first one is on December 17 at 4:30. We’re going to be playing with those times. I will be on the first one. Luiz Perez, an incredible, dynamic, talented, magnificent pelvic floor physical therapist… I’m trying to only have physical therapists, sometimes there’ll be a nurse, in these sisterhood questions. Sometimes there’ll be someone who’s had a huge success in their healing, and we want to pick their brains so that we can have a little bit of that, too.
Speaker 1: I’ll be there with Luiz, but Luiz is going to spearhead this. And I think you’re going to love her. She is the Latina, and she is brilliant, and she is connected and grounded. And as soon as you meet her, you’re going to love her as much as I do. Luiz was with me, the original, original physical therapists on Madison Avenue, 2007. So she worked with me for a while, she knows all my jargon. She knows everything. I have no secrets from her, Okay?
Speaker 1: And then remember that the standing challenge begins on December 9th. Now listen, I know that some women don’t feel comfortable with the standing challenge, because they might feel weak or they might feel like it’s not going to work for them. So you can also bring that to the sitting really straight challenge, right? Be mindful and aware of your posture, right? Because posture is everything.
Speaker 1: If you can’t make the circle, this is the one thing about the circles, we have to have the freedom to say whatever we want, whenever we want, about any kind of tips, tools and techniques. And the circles will not be recorded, okay? Because I want everyone to let their hair down, women are going to be sharing. We’re going to be talking. There may be some tears. There may be some deep insights that maybe women sharing it, and I don’t want to bring that out there, and I don’t want to record that. Okay? If I find that that time doesn’t work, Luiz is being very generous for her time, and we may change the sisterhood circle. This will be the first one.
Speaker 1: Yeah. And we have different time zones. We have people from Malaysia and all over the world. I’m like, Whoa, Malaysia? I’m like, all right. Pelvic power in Malaysia. It’s all over the universe, the black Friday and cyber sale was so cool, because we really were able to reach different types of communities and different women. So I’m really happy about that, and I’m glad that some women are going to find healing with that.
Speaker 1: So now I want to open it to some questions. Where is the chakra dance signup? No, it’s in the membership, the chakra dance. And it is in restore your pelvic function, which is pillar four. Now don’t laugh at me when you see me shake my thing, okay? Because I’m in this video. I was so embarrassed doing this video, I don’t even know why I was embarrassed. I was embarrassed. I don’t know, it was so private, right? Because your chakra, you’re opening, right? And then there’s the whole video crew there. I’m like, okay. Note to self, only hire video crew people that are women.
Speaker 1: So the chakra healing exercises are in pillar four, and that’s going to be fantastic. And the pelvic powerhouse video, that’s going to come up soon. Okay? And that’s the pelvic clock. So as you know, if you find something that is not working as good as you want, remember that we are shaping this membership together. We’re shaping the information together, we’re shaping the way it flows together. So I want feedback, okay? Positive feedback. Constructive feedback.
Speaker 1: So a lot of questions, I want to open up, we have a couple of minutes together. What questions do we have? Oh, everybody wants the stress reduction. So let me text Roseanne right now and say, “Girl, you got a gig. You got a paying gig for January”, she’s going to be happy. So, I don’t know. I’m feeling really hopeful. I’m really feeling really positive. I feel like I’ve gone through the darkest moment of my life, when I fell and broke my knee and my hand eight weeks ago. And I feel like we can recover from almost anything. The soul and the spirit cannot be beaten down, cannot be held down. It really can’t. Right?
Speaker 1: So remember that next week starts the standing challenge, but you can create… I don’t want to be dogmatic. You can do the perfect city posture. Okay? And the most important thing is to move and be aware of how long you’re sitting, and what happens when you don’t sit as long.
Speaker 1: This is from JD Lovelight, “So great to have support. God bless you Isa and everything helping ourselves, because it helps each other”. Yeah, and this is the thing, right? This community, this has never been done before. I wasn’t even sure what was going to happen. I said, I’m going to throw it out there and I’m going to create it. Right? If no one joins, I was like cool about it, but I’m so happy there are so many women who are here, because I think the community is the medicine for the 21st century. Being able to just have a place to go and know that someone is hearing you, listening to you, caring for you. Right? And then we’re all going to band together. We’re all going to support each other, and if you’re on the Facebook group, cool, but you don’t have to be.
Speaker 1: Make sure that you… I send you like six emails. If you didn’t get my emails, there’s a problem. Let us know, because you should’ve gotten like four emails from me and a reminder email. I wanted to make sure everything was good for the first time. So this is what happens. I’m having a moment and I forgot what I’m saying. You know, but right. Well, if you’re not on Facebook… Facebook were going to have, as soon as the master class that we’re going to have… I like everything with graphics. I like everything sort of organized, because then I can’t find your questions. Luiz can’t find your question.
Speaker 1: And Jessica Conley is the other physical therapist. So you have three physical therapists. Okay? As part of the mentors. Okay? And a nurse, and a sound healer. Oh, you have a pretty cool team, full group. Other than the graphics has December master class. You put your takeaways, and the hashtag is standing at my throne. Okay, everything has a hashtag. Everything has a mantra. Because what we repeatedly say to ourselves, is what we start to believe, and what we start to become. And so when you feel yourself having these racy moments, I want you to go back to the mantra, and I want you to say the mantra to yourself so we can disrupt the pattern.
Speaker 1: Everything is about disrupting the pattern, right? Changing the narrative. And the mantra here for this one is, “I am in control of my everyday actions. I am dedicated to living in the moment, which allows me to be conscious of what my body needs”. Well you can edit that as you please. But the main thing that I want to talk about is this, how do we stop the narrative that we tell ourselves over and over again? These racing thoughts that many times are just programming that we need to break. Lineage things, cultural things, trauma that we’ve experienced. So I love that.
Speaker 1: And then I also have a visualization for the week. It’s actually for the month, right? For the pillar. So you can do a mantra. The hashtag is standing at my throne, which I love. So if you have a comment, or you want to say something, you throw the hashtag in there and then we can put it in the search button and we can find all the comments with that hashtag. But, because I always have a fallback plan, I’m also going to have a graphic called the standing challenge. And then you’re going to put in there your wins, what your takeaways were, what you felt like, whatever you want to say. That’s the beauty about this membership. You can just poof, right? Let it all out. It’s really amazing.
Speaker 1: And then there’s the visualization, I think the visualizations are pretty fantastic. I start every morning with breath work. Otherwise, I start to look right away for what’s wrong. I’m one of those crazies, I always do that. I’m like, “Oh, Oh my God, the list. Oh my God. Oh my God”, this is how I… And then I had to stop. I was making my own self crazy. So now I go into the breath, I go into the mantra, right? Because sometimes my monkey brain needs something to keep it occupied. So if I’m thinking the mantra, then I don’t let the racy thoughts go into my head.
Speaker 1: So I think that that would be important, just to start the morning with a little bit of breath work, just breathing in and out, nothing dramatic. And the mantra if you want. And when you’re standing, you can do the mantra. And when you’re writing and tracking, because you’re going to track. I think it’s important to track. If you can’t track, you have to be like an investigator of yourself, right?
Speaker 1: And that’s how we start the healing journey. The healing journey doesn’t begin because I give you an exercise. The healing journey begins when you start to take notice, and you notice what you’re noticing, and you open up to the possibility of having something fantastic and great happen. This is from Norma, “Your looking glass videos are such an encouragement and comfort. You are an inspiration, everyone”. Thank you. I’m going to take that.
Speaker 1: I’m learning to receive. That’s another problem that we have. At least I have it. I have difficulty receiving and asking for help. Oh, the mantra, can you say the mantra again? Of course I can. I am in control of my everyday actions. I am dedicated to living in the moment, which allows me to be conscious of what my body needs. Sometimes you can place your hands here. Okay? And it’s right in pillar one. And I just love doing it like this. I don’t know, I just thought it was really sexy. Really
PART 2 OF 3 ENDS [00:34:04]
Speaker 1: Is that or no, I just thought it was really sexy. Really sexy. Tracking is tricky to stay consistent with, but it’s also helpful. This is from Robin. Yeah, for receiving this. Thank you. The thing is the most important thing about tracking is not to make yourself nuts. I made myself like OCD, nuts. Just half the mindset of curiosity. That’s all I’m asking for and it’s really important, really important. And every Friday I’m going to have a little graphic, which I do for my other groups, but in particular for this group I want to do it. About what your wins are. Right. And every day when I wake up I say something I’m grateful for and something that happened that it was a win for me. And we’re going to go deeper into that when I talk about the [inaudible] and when we talk about … By the way, you can just go ahead and do this work on your own. You don’t need me to guide you. Right. This is self guided process.
Speaker 1: So I’m really super excited for that. And if you want to take a selfie and post it and let’s be honest, please, I don’t want to have all perfect … Everybody’s like this. Look at me. I’m sitting so straight. And post that. I think it’d be a lot of fun. I think that sometimes we forget about the joy and pleasure. I think that after treating, I don’t know, 14,000, probably like maybe 15 16,000 women. I don’t even know anymore. One thing that I discovered is, and that I’ve noticed, right? Because my job is to notice, right, is that we can get so sucked in into our pain that we forget to focus on our pleasure. I want to talk about pleasure. I don’t mean sexual pleasure. I’m not talking about sex and orgasms, although that’s pretty fantastic too.
Speaker 1: I’m talking about like today I had a cup of green tea. I was so happy and I was just looking at the snow. In that moment, that moment right there just centered me. Because it’s been a lot, right? With everything that’s going on. And so I think that track as you wish but don’t make it like this crazy thing and just stay in a state of curiosity, right? Like what’s happening? Why is it happening? How can I change it? What can I do to improve it? And be really fluid with the experience and count the small wins every win that … I don’t care how small it is. Like for me today was having that cup of tea. That was the highlight of my day. Besides this, and I think it’s important to count the small wins because small wins build big momentum.
Speaker 1: And when you go on that momentum, nothing can stop you. Nothing, but you have to build it because pain is a liar. Leaking is a liar. Prolapse is a liar. It makes us and it steals our joy and the only way then we can take it back is by changing ourselves in small incremental steps because the only way to move a mountain, the only way to get through the dark is one little baby step like that every day, every day. One little thing. And if that day wasn’t like the gold star day, hasta la vista. Move on to the next. Right. Right, I know there’s a saying that says looking back gives you anxiety and stress and looking forward makes you nuts.
Speaker 1: But staying in the present moment is all that we have. I just paraphrased that. But something like that. And so for me it’s like I’m one of those people that I tend to be catastrophic. So I’m always thinking about the small. I always have to count my small wins, otherwise I go crazy. So I’m big about that. I write it on my phone now I have a whole system now for myself.
Speaker 1: Okay. Can you explain more about tracking? Can you give suggestions of what to track? I would track things. It’s really simple. I want to keep it really simple. Track what makes you feel good and do more of that. You can also track the stuff that doesn’t make you feel good. Do less of that. Right? Because we have to create the balance, do less bad, do more good. And if you follow that principle, that really simple principle, your life will change. It will transform. You will reclaim everything that was taken, right? Because that’s what pelvic floor dysfunction does. And some people here don’t have pelvic floor dysfunction and some people are here because they hear for the pelvic healing and the preventative care. But then it also keeps us in our power, right? Because when we always focusing on the bad, it takes us away from our inner glow and our inner power and in our inner joy.
Speaker 1: And for me, that’s why I wanted to keep it really simple. What makes you feel good do more of track that. What makes you feel bad? Track that, do less of that. And I guarantee that if you focus on those two things, whatever it is, I don’t care what it is, everything will get better.
Speaker 1: Okay. This is from Michelle. Yes. What should we track? My greatest fear is to leak in public, not to be able to go to events of my grandkids. And that’s a really valid fear. Now fear, write this down want everybody write this down. Is false expectations appearing real? I had this one client, she never went anywhere. Computer programmer. I remember. Very, very high techie programming. I didn’t understand what she did and she never traveled for fear that she will have more pain. Right. And what happened there was she never traveled, but she always had pain. So then one time we made this bet. As she wanted to go see a show in Vegas, I don’t know what the hell she wanted to go to Vegas.
Speaker 1: And I said, “Get on that plane, get on that plane.” She got on that plane. She didn’t have more pain. She wasn’t more symptomatic. As a matter of fact, she became more joyful. She became happier because she was going towards something that she really loved. Wasn’t perform. I don’t know what it was. Maybe it was Tony Bennett I don’t remember. But the ironic part of the whole thing was that she spent 20 years never traveling because of the fear.
Speaker 1: So my challenge to you, Michelle, is have you leaked in public and what were you doing when that happened? And then track that, right? Because we have to be careful with our fears because our fears hold us back. Right? Because you should go out in public and you should go play with the grandkids. And if you’re leaking anywhere then go do it. Go do it. Because you’ll be amazed when you’re in your joy and when you’re happy, how your body changes and acclimates and changes the response to what you’re doing. Right.
Speaker 1: So that’s one of my biggest thing about fears. I see a lot of women. I had this one young girl. She didn’t want to set a wedding date because Vaginismus and she was afraid of sex and she was doing the work. She was doing everything. She can even fit the biggest fricking dilator inside. And yet she still wouldn’t set that wedding date because she was afraid. Even though, we both knew physically that she was okay. And so that almost cost her, her fiance because he wanted to get married and start a family. And once we delve into the fear and we examine our fear and we talk to our fear. And she faced her fear, she was able to set that wedding date. So sometimes fear is there because it’s what we used to and we need to change that. We need to change what we’re used to. Right. I hope that makes sense.
Speaker 1: I’m looking. Oh wow. Okay. I’m so excited for you guys. Play in the candy store of the pelvic wellness collected. Do what ever. I recommend you going in order, but nobody ever listens to me. But you can skip around and see what’s there. I remember that I’m building, I’m building. Join the Facebook group. Even if you want to get like a fake Facebook email, Rosie is in charge of that. She’ll help you with that. Just email her at what support? Oh, isn’t it at Zendesk. Yeah. This will be the best thing. We’re getting a ticket system because now it’s getting big. Everything is big and sometimes I’m really obsessed about answering the questions and if I get literally two to 300 emails a day. Seriously, it’s insane. And things are falling through the cracks. So now we changed … So when somebody sends an email, now we see it through this system here. So if you’re not in the Facebook group, email support at ppr.zendesk.com and we’ll get you in.
Speaker 1: There’s people waiting. And thank you for putting your trust in this sisterhood. I think it’s going to be an extraordinary journey. Every month we’ll have a master class. Every month we’ll have a challenge. Every month we’ll have a sister circle and every month I’m going to go and live into the group or do a spontaneous looking glass video. Depending on what I noticed, right? Because I want this to be fluid. I don’t want it to be so regimented like my other programs. I want it to be more dynamic and I want feedback. So all feedback is welcome.
Speaker 1: And that’s all I have for you today. Thank you everyone for being here. Thank you for watching on the replay. What I’m going to try to do for this is get it downloaded. Well, I don’t do any of this. I’m saying I’m going to do it and then do a transcript because some people like to read, but those people in the transcript that do the transcript they’re slow. Man, sometimes I need a transcript. So it’s called rev.com and you put it up there and they do the whole thing for you. And then I put the transcript on the master class, I’ll try it, see how it goes, and then that way you have an option to read it as well and to download it.
Speaker 1: Okay. I’ll have to talk to my tech team. They say don’t make promises you can’t keep. All right ladies. December is off to a fantastic month. I’m really excited that you’re here and let’s just continue. Yeah, you can unmute everybody. All right guys. Oh, that’s it.
Speaker 1: Yeah, thanks Lisa. Thanks.
Speaker 2: Appreciate you.
Speaker 1: [crosstalk] you guys would be, Ooh, New Years. Oh, a new jacket.
Speaker 2: 2020.
Speaker 1: Yeah, we’re going to have to do something with that. I’m open to suggestions. Maybe we can do like something super cool for the sisterhood. I don’t know. Like, I definitely want a secret handshake that always wanted. I always want somebody like, hey, and then we’ll know who we are. But definitely, I think we should do something. I don’t know. I’m open to suggestions. If you have a suggestion, put it in the chat, put it in a group, let us do something to really bring in the 2020 with a lot of … I don’t know. A lot of like juiciness and a lot of hope and a lot of positivity. And a lot of gratitude. All that, all that.
Speaker 2: Support.
Speaker 1: And support of course. Join the Facebook group it’s going to be … And I’m going to try, and see if there’s another platform that’s not Facebook to have the community, but I’m not sure how to do that. My tech is exploring that now. All right. Bye guys.
Speaker 2: Thank you.
Speaker 3: Bye.
Speaker 1: I’ll let you know who the guest speaker is for January. Yeah, stress reduction. I’m going to text her right now.
Speaker 2: You’re a stickler.
Speaker 1: All right guys.
Speaker 3: [inaudible 00:47:58].
Speaker 2: Thank you.
Speaker 1: You’re welcome.
Speaker 2: Bye.

Speaker 3: Thank you.

Speaker 2: Thank you all.
Speaker 3: Okay.
